News Release Update: February, 2001:
PHILADELPHIA -- On February 1, 2001, John W. Herron, Administrative Judge of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, approved a multi-millon dollar settlement in a negligent security claim that helped bring closure for the family of Calma Calida. Calma Calida, R.N. was murdered in Tookany Creek Park under the Olney-Tabor Bridge in March 1997 after being kidnapped from her employer's parking lot. Robert M. McKain, a partner with the Center City law firm of Clinton and McKain, has been re-elected to a three-year term to the Board of Directors of the Cedar Grove Christian Academy. The Academy, with grades Pre-K through 8th, is located in the Lawncrest section of Philadelphia. McKain is a litigator who concentrates his practice in the field of Plaintiff’s personal injury.
